FAQs
Q: What is a zine?
A: Zines are fan-made unofficial projects containing art, writing, pictures, collages, edits, and all kinds of creative outlets focused around a character and/or theme.Q: Do you have an age limit for contributors?
A: Yes! This project is strictly for contributors who are 18 years of age or older. If you join our project and are found to have been lying about your age, you will be removed.Q: Are there content restrictions?
A: For the main zine, background and implied ships will be allowed, however they should not be the focus of the pieces. Additionally, canon-typical violence and canon-typical blood & gore will be allowed.
The add-on (NSFW/shipping zine) will have specific rules on content that is allowed/disallowed pending the interest check.Q: Will you be inviting guests?
A: We plan to invite one guest per role (writer, page artist, merch artist, and cover artist). Potential for more guests will depend on interest check results. Having guests will not have an impact on the number of contributors selected for the zine.Q: How many contributors will be in this zine?
A: The final number of contributors will be announced pending results from the interest check.Q: Is the zine for profit?
A: This will be determined depending on interest check results.Q: How will contributors be compensated?
A: The compensation will depend on the profits of the zine. The minimum compensation is a free digital copy for all mods and contributors.Q: Does what I create outside the zine affect my ability to participate?
A: Work you create on your personal time will not affect your ability to participate. However, potential contributors who are found to be engaging in bullying, harassment, hate-speech, or using AI in their work will be disqualified from contributing. Contributors found to be participating in the above will be removed from the project.Q: What is the theme of this zine?
A: The focus of our zine is on the character of Choso- we hope to explore the different aspects of his character in canon, post-canon, and alternate universe situations. Platonic and familial relationships he has with others will be at the forefront of the main zine, with the potential for ships in the add-on depending on interest!Q: Will the zine be physical or digital?
A: Our current plan is for a digital zine with digital merchandise. Depending on the interest check, we may offer physical copies of the zine and/or physical merchandise for purchase!Q: Will this zine be spoiler-free?
A: No. This zine will permit spoilers up to the current manga and anime release as of final submissions of contributors' work.Q: I have a question not listed here, where can I ask?
A: You can reach us through twitter, retrospring or tumblr.
